1) I am sad about Travis Hunter. I mean seriously. Come on Man.

2) I am currently at the ATL airport. Sigh.

3) I am tired.

So this is going to be a short column.

On the brighter side we finally beat a P4 team in College Football. And our D Line is actually looking really good.

Unlike You Know Who (who is literally sitting right next to me right now) you are getting the full column from the EVC because I bring it every single week!

Welcome to the week 8 Dream Job” recap. This is another once in a lifetime week, as I won another game! Yours truly is getting on a roll, so dont try to stop the train while its at full speed. Now lets move onto the awards:

Move of the Week:

We have our first kicker move of the week. James was in a tight match with Daniel and needed a spark. No one other than Cameron Dicker came along and scored 15 points giving James the edge to pull away.

Manager of the Week:

Jacob, you have a bunch of babies in this league, no need to go crazy on the points. But seriously Jacob had a stellar week scoring 132 points. The 50/50 shot of Joe Flacco working out actually worked out, and Jonathan Taylor had his weekly 3 td game.

Manager of the Weak:

When your defense doesnt get in the positive numbers, its not a good sign. Alfredo scored a total of 56 points in a terrible performance. Darnell Mooney, Demarcus Robinson, and JuJu at the wrs is also not a good sign of success, as it is not 2019 anymore.

MVP:

I have nominated:

Jordan Love (JT)

Tampa Bay Defense (Parker)

Tucker Kraft (Luke)

Drake “Drake Maye” Maye (Everly)

Jalen Hurts (Laney)

Jonathan Taylor (Jacob)

Bo Nix (James)

I have chosen Tucker Kraft as the week 8 MVP. I mean the dude turned into prime megatron and racked up catch after catch after catch. It also turned out to be national tight end day (coincidence i think not) [enter link]. Jokes aside, this big performance gave Luke the win this week. Congrats to Tucker Kraft!

Thanks for reading the week 8 recap as we continue to strive to be a better league than the playoffs league.

Until next week…….

Before we get to this week’s awards, check out this week’s episode of Gridiron Heights.

Season 10, Episode 9:

Poor Jayden Daniels

Manager of the Weak

58 points woof. At least it was 10 points more than your first every week in the league all the way back in 2019!

Move of the Week

Troy Franklin. I remember when he was just bench fodder on my bench. Sigh.

MVP

Tucker Kraft, Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Jonathan Taylor, Chase Brown

Tucker Kraft was the guy who got Aaron the win in Week 8. He is the #1 TE on the season. Wow.

Manager of the Week

Overbay hadn't won it yet and he won in Week 8 and I don't know how often that is going to happen the rest of the year so we better get it out of the way now. Congrats to the icon and Overbay for winning the Week 8 Manager of the Week!

Until Week 9...

-The Commish

P.S. Please review Bucky Irving's schedule in Week 16 & Week 17 and then call me. Ok Bye.
