Week 2/3
Updated: 4 days ago

Congrats to Woodcox and Umphlett for being the only two undefeated teams after week 2. Woodcox team is looking like a wagon with Allen and KW3 going nuclear on the NFL through the first two games of the season. Umphlett has benefited from facing the least amount of points so far, but don't sleep on this roster because any roster with Jahmyr Gibbs is dangerous.
Things I am Watching in Week 3
Can Jerry's Belt Buckle keep it going or will the icon give Umphlett his first loss?
Drake London has already started off strong with 19 points on Thursday. Can Dak Prescott and Gibbs have massive games and how can Deebo Samuel, Isaiah Likely, and Carnell Tate help contribute? One thing is for for sure, all eyes in the Umphlett household will be on Jeremiah Love. An immense amount of draft capital was invested into Love and he has been a parttime player through two weeks, will the Cardinals truly invest into their star in Week 3?
Is Malik Nabers healthy? Will Jameis Winston target him relentlessly?
Nabers had an OK game in Week 1, but Week 2 was a nightmare with Dart going down with an injury. Now the Giants have to move forward with Jameis Winston as QB1 which is sure to bring many YOLO moments. Is that going to create extra volume for Nabers or is the fact that he is recovering from a serious injury and just the overall dysfunction in the NY Giants offense too much to overcome? I mean who doesn't love Jameis?
Speaking of QB1, Baker Mayfield is apparently QB1 for Dirty Mike now. It's a Bold Strategy Cotton, lets see how it works out for him. With Bucky Irving in the starting lineup, Cozart has now heavily invested into the Tampa Bay Bucs. Will this investment pay off? With Bijan Robinson already scoring 32 points on Thursday night it has to for Dirty Mike to have any chance in Week 3.
Puka helped Billy win a championship last year, but 2026 hasn't started off great for Nacua. With him missing Week 2 and most likely Week 3 it has really wrecked Billy's plan for a repeat. Jaokbi Myers (he still plays for the Raiders in case you didn't know), DK Metcalf (he still plays for the Seahawks in case you didn't know), and Josh Downs (he still plays for the Colts, no he actually does) are the answer at WR now. I mean that is a decision. But can Billy's touch of gold even make this lineup work?!?!
Two 0-2 titans in The Commish and The Kayak Pirates face off in Week 3. There aren't really "must win" games in Week 3, but lets be honest. This is as close to a must win as it is going to get in Week 3. Will a kicker that I start attempt a FG? Will a Tight End I start score a point?

Season 11, Episode 3
Hey, just like the Groovy Pinchers, Aaron wants attention!
Manager of the Weak

Welp. I didn't exactly envision a world where I wouldn't be starting Colston Loveland or Drake Maye in Week 3. I mean my keepers are just so amazing, but wow. What happened exactly. I am not even sure. I have scored over 80 points yet. Honestly I am just a little confused. But hey, I am content because I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. On to Week 3!
At least this experience gave me a good laugh:
What is Going On With The Commish?
He has had a run of bad luck.
Nothing. He is The Gold Standard
Wrong? Come on people, The Commish is completely content.
Isn't it obvious? Maybe his keepers weren't that awesome
P.S. The answer clearly isn't #4.
P.S.S. KRABS stole my joke on text this week. I was going to make a joke about saying that maybe I was worried about the wrong team tanking in the first 4 weeks of the season. Yikes!
Move of the Week

Let's give The Groovy Pinchers some love in Week 2 with his great call to start Stefon Diggs in Week 2. Diggs caught six passes and two touchdowns for 16 fantasy points in his big Week 2 victory over the reigning champs showmedamoney! In Week 2 Billy did not win the damn thing. It will be interesting to see how KRABS handles his receiver rotation moving forward and whether Diggs can keep this up. KRABS doesn't think so considering he was benched for Tre Tucker and Courtland Sutton! Congrats to KRABS for winning the Week 2 Move of the Week!
MVP
Davante Adams, Rashod Bateman, Josh Allen, Isaiah Likely, Patrick Mahomes

Well, another Monday Night Football is in the books, and I am currently sitting here pretending to be deeply, profoundly heartbroken over the absolute tragedy that unfolded in Week 2.
It is my heavy, solemn duty to announce that our coveted Week 2 MVP award goes to none other than New York Giants tight end Isaiah Likely. In what will surely be remembered as one of the most dominant, legendary displays in the history of the Playoffs!?! League, Likely exploded on MNF for a colossal, game-shattering 3 points to propel Jerry's Belt Buckle to a breathtaking 80-79 victory over The Institute.
While lesser players need trivial things like "100 receiving yards" or "multiple touchdowns" to make an impact, Likely showed us the true meaning of minimalist efficiency. He did just enough—and not a single stat more—to secure that glorious one-point win, all while Malik Nabers generously provided a heroic 0-point goose egg on the other side to seal the deal.
My heart just breaks into a million pieces for The Institute after suffering such a agonizing, single-point defeat on national television. I mean, losing 80 to 79 because your guy couldn't buy a single catch is the kind of soul-crushing fantasy disaster that keeps a manager up until 3:00 AM staring blankly at the ceiling. And as your kind, compassionate Commissioner, I promise you I am definitely, totally not sitting here with a massive grin on my face, quietly savoring every single second of it.
Manager of the Week

Life comes at you fast. Manager of the Weak in Week 1 and Manager of the Week in Week 2! Things didn't exactly go to plan in Week 1, but Ja'Marr Chase bounced back big time in Week 2 with 19 points and Davante Adams exploded for 31 (!?!) points in Week 2. And now Drake London has dropped 19 points in Week 3 Thursday Night (is Overbay the biggest Michael Penix Jr. fan on earth?). This roster has turned it around quickly and is looking to make some noise this season!
Until Week 3/4...
-The Commish
