Week 13

Well we are officially past Thanksgiving and that can only mean one thing! Fantasy Playoffs are around the corner. Oh and Christmas is around the corner too. Some of us are very excited about this time and some of us well, look and feel like Aaron Rodgers right now:

And I know what you are thinking. I have seen this guy before. Somewhere. Oh that's right:

We are going full circle and connecting with one of the greatest Christmas movies ever made. And let's be honest, this meme can really relate to The Commish's 2025 Fantasy Football season:

But Aaron Rodgers and The Commish aren't the only one on fire and upset. The #1 person in the NFL who has to be upset right now is Brandon Aubrey. I mean first off look what this guy has done this year. He has scored more fantasy points this season than:

I mean that's insane. And why is he upset you ask? Because KRABS benched him in Week 13!?!? I mean what the heck. Now I know what you are going to say, but he Myers scored more points than Aubrey in Week 13 and mathematically you would be right, but process over results and seriously what the heck.

Editors Foreshadowing Note: Week 14 history won't look as kind on this debate.

But Yes I know that KRABS is continuing to win, but I mean are you feeling POSITIVE about his situation? He somehow finds a way to Ham & Egg a win, but Jonathan Taylor is looking very mortal these days and has two consecutive games of 11 or less points. And let's spend a second talking about Saquon Barkley. I mean woof. he has 4 straight games of less than 10 points and 3 straight in single digits. Danger Will Robinson, Danger.

So yes KRABS keeps winning, but the real question is: how and is it sustainable. I was really questioning the sustainability and then I saw this news nugget (I mean this story really writes itself):

Yeah Barkley apparently stinks and KRABS has some holes, but don't worry guys. He installed a "Positivity Rabbit" in the Eagles Locker Room. I mean this is clearly a sign. For something.

Welcome to the Week 13 “Dream Job” recap. This will be short because I spent alot of time working on my homework this weekend and preparing to compete at MLS Next Fest 2025 next week. I am playing in a 32 team tournament to win a spot in the Generation Adidas Cup in April. Wish me luck! Plus, I lost to my sister in Fantasy football. Sigh. But hey look on the bright side, my record is now...... 6-7. breaks out into spontaneous laughter*.

Manager of the Weak

I am giving this to two managers in Week 13: the Brenti. Each with an amazing opportunity to pull ahead for the final playoff spot, they both laid an egg in Week 13. black is for sunday only put up 52 points and lost to ya boy The Commish and Brent Cozart (as documented above) managed to tie again, and lose, which is sort of unbelievable. What is even more amazing is that these two are separated by only TWO points. So they are about as tied as you can get in the standings. Crucial matchups in Week 14 and 15 for both of these managers to try and clinch the final playoff spot:

Move of the Week

Billy won in a tie and his move to pickup the Chargers defense gave him a critical 8 points!

MVP

Kimani Vidal, Seattle Defense, AJ Brown, Patrick Mahomes, Jordan Love

Sticking with the theme of defenses, the Seattle Defense scored 30 fantasy points in Week 13 to power Aaron and This is The Way to his first win in five weeks. A defense scoring 30 points is pretty rare and Aaron needed almost every one of those points to secure the victory. Congrats to the Seattle defense for winning the week 13 MVP!

Manager of the Week

Even though things are looking a little rocky, KRABS still scored above 100 points and beat Juggernaut Kayak Pirates in Week 13. It doesn't feel sustainable unless Barkley and Taylor get it figured out, but hey, he has the "positivity rabbit" deployed now. It has to work right?!?! Congrats to KRABS for winning the Week 13 Manager of the Week!
