Happy Thanksgiving! You know during this season I am thankful for many things, but most importantly I am thankful to you loyal reader of the Notes. I just want to let you know that we can't do this without you and I hope you have an amazing day. I mean Jameis says it all here for me:

And you can't have a real Thanksgiving without plenty of Jameis Winston Week 12 highlights:

We have completed the 2025 Rivalry Weeks and I always like to take a look at stat nuggets related to rivalry week games because odd things always tend to happen:

  • For six years black is for sunday only won ONE rivalry week game vs. The Institute. It was disgusting honestly. But after his Week 12 victory he has now won three consecutive rivalry week matchups.

  • For the first time in league history Jerry's Belt Buckle swept the Rivalry week matchups vs. The Commish.

  • With yet another "tie victory" KRABS has now defeated Dirty Mike 8 out of the last 9 Rivalry Week matchups.

  • And maybe the most amazing stat: Billy has now defeated Aaron NINE consecutive Rivalry Week matchups. In 2026 he can set a league record if he defeats Aaron in Week 4 next year. Unreal.

Looking at the standings the picture for the playoffs has gotten fairly clear with the Kayak Pirates and KRABS basically locked into spots and three teams fighting for the final two spots like the annual Unc race...

More breakdowns in the future, but which of these three teams will grab the final two spots?

Who will lose the 2025 Playoffs Unc Race?

  • showmedamoney!

  • black is for sunday

  • Dirty Mike

Ok let's get to the EVC's recap of Week 12 of the Dream Job league!

Welcome to the Week 12 “Dream Job” recap. Happy Thankgiving to all! I am very thankful for every one of you (except KRABS in some moments) but dont forget your carrots!

Move of the Week:

With Josh Jacobs being out for the Packers, Emmanuel Wilson stood out as the key backup to step up, and step up he did. In a very high scoring matchup between Daniel and Derek, Emmauel Wilson’s 23 points pushed Daniel over the line for a win.

Manager of the Week:

I’m gonna be thankful and give it to myself because I probably won’t win it again. This is one of my highest point totals of the year, led by Matthew Stafford, DJ Moore, and Ashton Jeanty.

Manager of the Weak:

I think we have an all time low points scored this year. One for Emma not to be thankful for, as she scored only 27 points. Since the broncos defense is on bye, that means they dont play a game, which means they dont score points, which means dont start them!

I had the same amount of points as Jameson Williams on sunday, which was also a key reason of her failure.

MVP:

I have nominated:

George Pickens (Luke)

Matthew Stafford (JT)

Amon Ra St. Brown (Everly)

Sam Darnold (Brooks)

Dak Prescott (Daniel)

Jaxon Smith Njigba (James)

Derrick Henry (Parker)

I have chosen Jaxon Smith Njigba for MVP. This dude has been putting up madden numbers in games and may be in contention for the actual MVP come the end of the year. He was not short of that production this week, and he put up a solid 28 points in James’s win over Jacob. Congrats to JSN!

Thanks for reading the week 12 recap as we continue to strive to be a better league than the playoffs league.

Until next week…….

Before we get to this week’s awards, check out this week’s episode of Gridiron Heights.

Season 10, Episode 12:

Manager of the Weak

I mean let's just cut to the chase. Bigger Train Wreck: The Institute in Week 12 or This Guy?

Who Was Worse?

  • This guy singing

  • The Institute's 2025 Week 12 Performance

P.S. If we ever allowed more than just the next years draft picks to be traded can you all imagine VZ basically becoming this guy?

Move of the Week

I spent weeks waiting on the GB Defense to do something. They didn't do anything.

Billy picks them up in Week 12 and they score 18 Fantasy Points which is more than the combined total of points they gave me in the multiple weeks I started them. Sigh.

MVP

Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Davante Adams, JSN, Jalen Hurts

Gibbs dropped a cool 43 points in Week 12 and if he only scored his projection of 18 points Umphlett would have lost. Gibbs is doing his best superman impersonation doing everything he can to put Jerry's Belt Buckle on his back to try and carry them to a playoff spot. Gibbs has now scored 33+ points in three out of his last 5 games and is basically going scorched earth on the NFL. He has moved into 3rd in overall RB fantasy points on the year and is looking to catch CMC. And if he keeps this pace up (and Taylor keeps dropping 5 point weeks) who knows what could happen over the final weeks of the season.

Also not that anyone is keeping track at home (besides me) but that is three straight weeks now that someone has scored 43+ points against me. Sigh.

P.S. Thanks to Jahmyr for joining the cause of trying to make 67 no longer cool.

Manager of the Week

Billy has now won three in a row and has third place all to himself. The Vikings look like a disaster right now so Justin Jefferson may not pay off, but maybe there is life in the Eagles passing game after Hurts and Brown's big scoring week. I don't know he does it, but all Billy does is win and he is on the inside track to making the playoffs once again. And once you get there anything can happen.

But let's be honest. I know what you are all thinking. The real competition here is the race for the most Cookies. Shockingly Billy is in second place right now. Will The Institute outspend showmedamoney! over the remaining weeks or will Billy's streak come to an end?!?!?

Congrats to Billy and the entire showmedamoney! franchise for winning the Week 12 Manager of the Week!

Until Week 13...

P.S. Happy Thanksgiving from Carolina Mic!
