INJUSTICE
Normally I don't like to focus the Notes on me, but I feel like each of you have forced me to do this.
Please watch the video below to ensure that each of you learn a powerful lesson.
After Watching The Above Video Are You Now Willing to Prevent Injustice?
Yes
No
What is happening to The Commish in the 2026 season is an absolute injustice. INJUSTICE.
This is me trying to convince my Tight End to score more than 1 Fantasy Point.
The Tight End I start trying to score more than 1 Fantasy Point:
Do you know how many times in league history a team has started 0-5?
Before this year 7 times. 2.8% chance. And it is UNFATHONABLE to me that a team with such amazing keepers that I have would start 0-5. The only logic answer is INJUSTICE.
The previous 7 teams that started 0-5? They averaged 72.6 points through their first five weeks. The Commish? Averaged 91.6 points. INJUSTICE.
Of these seven previous teams to start 0-5, none of them rebounded to a winning record.
Things are looking sort of bleak for The Commish due to this INJUSTICE. I mean my keepers are awesome. But I got to thinking, how often has a team lost at least 5 games in a row at any point in the season?
My 2026 team is the 51st team to have at least a 5 game losing streak in the season.
This is the third time in Generalissimo history where I had at least a 5 game losing streak. The other two times were in back to back seasons in 2007 and 2008 when I finished 5-8-1 in 2007 and 4-10 in 2008.
Of the previous 50 teams to have at least a 5 game losing streak:
45 of them finished with a losing record
5 of them finished with at least a .500 record
2 of them finished with a winning record
Who were these two teams?
2015 The Institute
Yuck. Overcoming an injury to Andrew Luck and powered by Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones, The Institute was able to finish with a 8-6 regular season record even though he ended the regular season on a five game losing streak. How did The Institute end the 2015 season? He won Fantasy Bowl XV.
2023 showmedamoney!
In 2023 through the first 6 weeks of the season Billy's team was 4-2, but in Week 7 Billy had a run of bad luck and went through a 5 game losing streak. But this showmedamoney! squad rebounded in Week 12 to win the final four regular season games of the season. How did showmedamoney! end the 2023 season? He won Fantasy Bowl XXIII.
We ain't done yet.
Things I Am Watching During Week 5
Will Ashton Jeanty rebound to a weekly 15+ scoring player?
Will Mike Evans stay healthy enough to continue to be a top 5 WR?
Will Malik Nabers ascend to challenge Puka as the #1 overall WR?
What happened to the Packers Offensive Line and will they give Jordan Love enough time to carve up the Cowboys?
Can Jeff trust Tyler Shough?
Do The Groovy Pinchers have a chance at a massive Week 6 upset with Jared Goff on bye and Jalen Hurts out?
Can the Tight End I start score more than a single fantasy point?
Before we get to this week’s awards, check out this week’s episode of Gridiron Heights.
Season 11, Episode 6
Manager of the Weak
Guys. KRABS wasn't even trying to win this year and he won at least one time. INJUSTICE.
Quick aside. I can't make up my mind what is better branding: The Groovy Pinchers or Wide Deceiver. Genius.
Move of the Week
Aaron Jones? Are we serious here? Aaron Jones. He had 25 carries and 15 fantasy points. Brent Woodcox started Aaron Jones and he scored 15 fantasy points. Meanwhile I can't get more than a single point from my Tight End. INJUSTICE.
MVP
Jared Goff, Spencer Shrader, Bucky Irving, Josh Allen, Jaylen Warren
Ok Josh Allen is inevitable. I mean even in the 3rd quarter was there ever a doubt that black is for sunday was going to come roaring back to win his Week 5 matchup? Two straight Monday Night victories. Two straight MVPs.
Also I know Spencer Shrader didn't win MVP this week, but I mean this is just ridiculous:
Manager of the Week
30 points from Jaylen Warren? Are we serious? INJUSTICE. Parker Washington scores 24 points after scoring zero in Week 4? Yeah sure why not. INJUSTICE.
Overbay had 7 of his 9 starters score in double digits and three players score 24+ points.
Overbay you need to go back and watch the video again. I don't care if you are winning the Week 6 Manager of the Week. You are contributing to the INJUSTICE.
Until Week 6/7 (*giggles*)...
